For journalists

Expert sources

Pharmacy and healthcare professionals available for media comment, listed only after NPHLA has verified their credentials. Every request goes through the NPHLA press office.

Listed experts

No expert sources are listed yet

NPHLA lists an expert only after verifying their credentials and confirming they are available for media comment. Until then, the press office can help with requests for comment, background or data.

How NPHLA verifies experts

  • Every expert is a real, named professional with a public NPHLA profile they have approved.
  • Staff verify credentials against an authoritative source — such as a state licensing board, the NPPES registry or an employer — and record when and how. The “credentials verified” mark disappears automatically if the re-check date passes or the listed credentials change.
  • Experts declare relevant financial and professional interests, shown on their profile and with their work.
  • Listing is never paid for, and experts are not asked to speak favourably about NPHLA.
  • Requests go through the NPHLA press office. Personal contact details are never published.

What verification does not mean

Verification confirms a person’s stated credentials at the time of checking. It is not an endorsement of every view they express, and NPHLA membership is not a license, certification or accreditation. Meet the people behind NPHLA.
